Kufic Bismil Laah...

Alhamdu lill laah, I was able to finish this Kufic Bismil laah  for my friend...
The“Kufic” style of writing in Arabic Calligraphy refers to the style of writing, which originated in the city of Kufa in southern Iraq.It was historically developed in the 4th century A.D.
It can be distinguished by other style of writing by its unique style characteristics. Some early Kufic scripts did not use vowels or dots (diacritical marks) around letters
It has Angular letter shapes, short, broad vertical strokes and long extended horizontals.
The Kufic script is the oldest style of writing which was inspired by Nabatean script.
In addition of being used as the script for Qur’an copying, it is also used for monuments and decoration of buildings, because of the rigidity of the script and its ease for execution as carving on stones or using tiles or bricks. It can also be found in coins of the Seljuks and the Ottomans.
There were no set rules of using the Kufic script  the only common feature is the angular, linear shapes of the characters.
The earliest form of the Kufic script can be found in the early copies of the Qur’aan, in which the script was used.
