The Excellence's of 'Ahle Baiet'
Posterity of the Holy Prophet and his near relatives for whom "Sadaqa"[propitiatory gift, alms] is unlawful, his pious wives [revered mothers of believers], Hazrat Faatimah Tuz Zahraa...[Radiyal Laahu 'Anha] ' Hazrat Alee, Hazrat Imaam Hasan and Hazrat Imaam Husaien [may Allaah Kareem be pleased with them all] are included in Ahle Bait.
The Qur-aanic verses and sayings of the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam] concerning Ahl-e-Bait indicate that their excellence s are numerous. Some of them are:
Allaah Almighty has cleansed them of impurity and purified them well. They have been protected from such things which are
unbecoming of their status.
Hell-fire is Haraam (forbidden) for them.
Sadaqa [propitiatory gift, alms] is unlawful for them because it is dross of the property/ wealth.
The first group of believers for whom the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam] will intercede on the Day of Judgment is of Ahle Baiet.
To love them is one of the obligatory duties of Islaam and to harbor ill-will or malice against them is hypocrisy.
The case of "Ahle Baiet" is like Noah's Ark that the one who boarded it was safe and annihilated was he who avoided it.
Believers have been emphasized upon to hold fast to the rope of Ahle Baiet.
