Ready to Receive
Ramadan 2020
Don’t miss the Beginning!
Alhamdu Lil Laah…. once again, the blessed month of Ramadan is coming in.
Ramadan is a time of wonderful experience when a believer’s life gets re-energized.
The beginning moments of Ramadan is most important. As we all know Ramadan is an accepted witness for or against human being in the Day of judgement.
The best thing to
get it in our favor is to show up ourselves for its reception and impress it
with best possible words, action and deeds.
This year, Ramadan is coming in the midst of a global pandemic. And many of us feel deprived. For the first time in our lives, we are unable to go to the Masjid, Taraweeh, Qiyam.
We are unable to go to family and community iftars. Many of us worry that this Ramadan won’t be complete.
And that would indeed be the case if it was you or I who intentionally deprived ourselves of these things.
But, not when it's the Qadr
of Allaah Kareem. This is deep. Remember that Almighty Allaah’s decisions for
the believer are always good for them.
Remember the lesson which the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam) taught our mother, Hazrat Umm e Salamah (Radiyal Laah Anha):
That even through deprivation, we can be given.
The Beloved Prophet (Sallal
Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam) have said,
“There is no Muslim
who is stricken with a calamity and says what Allaah has enjoined –
‘Verily to Allaah we Belong and unto Him is our Return.
Oh Allaah, reward me for my affliction and compensate me with
something better’ –
but Allaah Kareem
will compensate him with something better.”
(Muslim 918)
Beginning of Ramadan
cannot be calculated in advance. It is the beauty of this religion to keep its
followers excited for Ramadan.
Scholars say that what you think of Ramadan is exactly what you can expect from it.
If you think it would be tiresome and dull so it would be for you. On the other hand,
if you want it to be a season of great enlightenment and spiritual ecstasy it would be so. Likewise,
if you are happy to see and welcome it, it would be happy and
kind to you and vice-versa.
May Allaah Almighty make Ramadan a season of
spiritual enlightenment and Divine blessings for us. Aameen.
Wish you a happy and
blessed month of Ramadan!
