The battle of Banu Mustaliq took
place in Sha'ban.
During the above-mentioned battle,
the "Verse of Tayammum"
[Purifying with sand before Salaah]
was revealed, five years A.H.
Rubbing hands and feet
with Dust (Tayammum)
The saying of Almighty
Allah: "But if you ... cannot find water, then purify yourselves with
clean earth by wiping your faces and hands."
قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَ: فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا مَاءً
فَتَيَمَّمُوا صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَامْسَحُوا بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُم مِّنْهُ
