We must show the world that we love the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم

 We must show the world that we love the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم more than our own parents, our own children and our own lives.

Let’s make a commitment on the Birthday of our Beloved Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم that we will follow his teachings for the rest of the year and during the remaining period of our lives. We will pray five prayers because Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم loved to perform the daily five prayers. We will do what he liked, and we will stay away from what he صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade.

Imam Ibn Hajar al-`Asqalani [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] in his book Al-Durar al-kamina fi `ayn al-Mi’at al-thamina, mentions that Allamah Ibne Kaseer [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] a Muhaddis “In the last days of his life wrote a book entitled Mawlid/Milaad Rasool Allaah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم which was spread far and wide. That book mentioned the permissibility and recommendability of celebrating the Mawlid.”

Ibn Kaseer’s book was edited and published in 1961. In it he says, p. 19:

 “The Night of the Prophet’s birth is a magnificent, noble, blessed and holy night, a night of bliss for the believers, pure, radiant with lights, and of immeasurable price.”

 

May we live as the true lovers of Rasool-ul laah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and may we die in the love of Rasool-ul laah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. Aameen.
