What is meant by "Qasr" in prayer?
Answer
“Qasr کسر” means to offer only two of four Rakats obligatory prayer. Only two Rakaats (of Farz prayer) are complete prayer for a traveler. It is very sinful for one to offer four Rakats رکعات intentionally as it is deliberate omission of Waajib. He must repent for the sin.
