🌟 The Pure Lineage of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
The Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“I had been transferred, continuously, from purified offspring to purified wombs.” —
Tafseer Ruhul Biyaan]
This statement is not only beautiful but deeply meaningful. It affirms that from the very beginning, the Noor (light) of Prophethood was carried by only the most pious and pure souls — those with unwavering faith in Allaah Ta’aala.
💫 The Noor Passed Through Believers
The light of the Prophet ﷺ was transferred generation to generation, only through people of the highest Imaan (faith). It finally settled in the loins of a noble, handsome, and God-fearing man: Hazrat Abdul laah رضي الله عنه, son of Hazrat Abdul Muttalib رضي الله عنهم.
The Noor shone so brightly on Hazrat Abdul lah’s forehead/face that he became the most handsome man in all of Makkah. But even more beautiful was his heart — pure from shirk, devoted to the One Allaah Almighty alone.

🕋 True Faith in a Time of Darkness
Hazrat Abdul laah lived رضي الله عنه in a society drowned in idol worship. The Ka'bah itself had over 300 idols inside. Despite this, he firmly rejected idol worship and remained a believer in the oneness of Allaah Ta’ala. He followed the pure monotheistic path of Prophet Ibrahim (Alaiehis Salaam).
❓ Was Hazrat Abdul laah a Believer Before Islam?
This is a valid question — how was he a true believer (Mu’min) if Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had not yet been born?
The answer lies in a Hadees reported by Hazrat Ibne Abbaas رضي الله عنه. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“After the time of Prophet Nooh (Noah), this earth was never empty of at least seven sincere believers in Allaah, and because of these believers Allaah protected the rest of the people of the earth.” [Alaiehis Salaam]
This confirms that in every generation, Allaah Ta’ala maintained a group of true believers. Hazrat Abdul laah was one of these pure believers.
🌙 Conclusion
The lineage of Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was never touched by disbelief. From Hazrat Aadam to Hazrat Abdul lah, it was a chain of light, faith, and purity رضي الله عنهم.
This sacred journey of Noor ended in the birth of the greatest mercy to mankind — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
