When the Famous Angel Jibraeel [Alaiehis Salaam] Helped

Hazrat Imaam Husaien!

One day in Madinah Munawwarah, a touching moment unfolded — one filled with love, laughter, and hidden divine secrets.

Hazrat Imaam Hasan and Imaam Husaien (peace be upon them), the beloved grandsons of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, were playfully wrestling. Like any proud grandfather, Rasool ul Laah ﷺ watched them with joy, his heart full of love for both.

As they wrestled, the Prophet ﷺ was heard saying:

"Hasan, hold Husaien."

Standing nearby, Hazrat Fatimah tuz-Zahrah (Radiyal Laah Anha) lovingly protested,

"Ya Rasool ul Laah ﷺ, Husaien is younger, and you’re helping Hasan!"

The Holy Prophet ﷺ smiled and replied with a message that echoes through generations:

"Jibraeel is helping Husaien."

                                                                   [Aalaiehis Salaam]

🌟 A Moment with Deep Meaning

This light-hearted wrestling match wasn't just child’s play. It unveiled a spiritual truth — even in moments of innocence,  Almighty Allaah's support and unseen help surrounded the family of the Prophet ﷺ.

The statement of the Beloved Prophet ﷺ reveals the Divine station of Hazrat Imaam Husaien (Radiyal Laah Anhu). From his early childhood, he was not only loved by his grandfather but also supported by the Divine Angelic Realms.

🕊️ Lessons We Learn:

  • Divine love surrounds Ahle Baiet — even in their smallest moments.

  • Support of Hazrat Jibraeel (Alaiehis Salaam) signifies the spiritual weight Hazrat Imaam Husaien would carry later in life.

  • The Holy Prophet’s ﷺ love was equal — but so was his awareness of divine wisdom.

🖋️ Final Reflection

In Karbala, years later, when Hazrat Imaam Husaien (Radiyal Laah Anhu) stood against tyranny, we remember that same Divine help. The one who wrestled as a child with angelic support would later wrestle with history — not for play, but for the truth of Islam.

He wasn’t alone then. He wasn’t alone in Karbala. He is not alone now.

May Allaah Kareem Bless his soul for ever and ever. Aameen.
