Iemaan [Faith].
The Holy Prophet MUHAMMAD [Sallal Laahu 'Alaiehi Wa Sallam] declares thus:
"That is, none of you is Mu’min [believer] unless I am dearer to him than his parents, his children and all other persons."
[Saheeh ul Bukhari].

Milaad is derived from the Arabic root word
[Arabic: ولد ,meaning to give birth]

The purpose of the Milaad Shareef is to mention the pure states of the
Holy Prophet MUHAMMAD[Sallal Laahu 'Alaiehi Wa Sallam] so that we can be inclined towards Him because love for the Holy Prophet is the sign of complete faith.

Similarly the Milaad un Nabee [Sallal Laahu 'Alaiehi Wa Sallam] celebration in reality is to remember that great day when this world received this Supreme Blessing.
We must pray that we are gifted with His special favors
and receive the intercession on the Day of Judgment of the Beloved of Allaah Almighty, our Prophet Muhammad Mustafaa
