HAZRAT SULTAAN SALAAH UD DEEN AYYUUBI
The Great Muslim Warrior
& THE MIRACLE OF
Hazrat Shaiekh Saiyyid Abdul Qaadir Jeelaani
[رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ]
Hazrat Sultaan Salaah ud deen Aiyyuubi was a
great warrior, a great leader and above all, a great soofie general. Hazrat
Sultaan Aiyyuubi, the hero of hundreds of battles, was the person who for
twenty years braved the storm of the crusaders and ultimately pushed back the
combined forces of Europe which had come to swarm the Holy Land. The world has
hardly witnessed a more chivalrous and humane conqueror. He is best known for
defeating the crusaders and re-conquering Jerusalem in the decisive Battle of
Hattin in 1187 A.D.
Hazrat Sultan Salaah ud deen Aiyyubi |worked
immensely for the spreading the Deen. He also established many Madrasas for the
scholars of the Four Sunni Mazhab’s.
‘’When the famous brave Muslim warrior Sultaan
Salaah ud deen Aiyyuubi was on his death bed, someone asked him Oh Aiyyuubi you
are a great warrior of Islaam, you have been fighting in the path of Allaah
Kareem for such a long time but you weren’t martyred, you weren’t blessed with
martyrdom.
Sultaan Salaah ud deen Aiyyubi Said ‘’throughout
my life I was yearning to be martyred in the path of Allaah Ta’aalaa, but did
you know that the sword of the enemy could not touch my neck’’,
Hazrat Sultaan Salaah ud deen Aiyyubi said
‘’In my childhood my father took me to Shaiekh
Saiyyid Abdul Qaadir al-Jeelaani
[Rahmatul Laahi Alaieh] and he the great
Shaiekh placed his hand on my neck, how could the sword of the enemy touch my
neck when my neck was touched by the blessed hands of Shaiekh."
Sultan Salaah ud deen Aiyyubi |is the Hero of
Muslim Ummah who continues to inspire us especially when we are being oppressed
in the blessed lands of Palestine and all over the World.
He strove hard to establish the Deen of Allaah
and never compromised with the Deviants.
May Allaah Kareem give us the taufeeq to follow
the footsteps of Auliyaa of Allaah like Sultan Salaah ud deen al Aiyyubi ,and
all the Auliyaa Allaah who stood firm against the evil forces and never
compromised on the tenets of Ahle Sunnat Wa Jama’at.
