SALAAT AL-HAJAAT
PRAYER SALAAT NAAMAAZ-E-HAAJAT
(The prayer for the fulfillment of the true Need)
Hazrat Abdul laah ibn Abu Awfa (Radiyal
Laah Anhu) narrates that the Beloved Prophet of Almighty Allaah ﷺ said,
“Whoever has a need from Almighty Allaah let him make ablution wudu, doing it well, and offer 2 Raka’ah salah.
First recite Hamd and Sanaa (praise
and glory) of Almighty Allaah and send Durood O Salaam to the Holy Prophet ﷺ and
then keep the need in mind and read the following supplication:
Laa Ilaaha Il-Lal-Laahu ִHaleemul
Kareem, Subִhaanal-Laahi Rab-Bil ‘Arshil ‘Aֵzeem,
Wal ִHamdu Lil-Laahi Rab-Bil ‘Aalameem. As’aluka
Moojibaata Raִhmatika Wa‘Azaa’ima Magh Firatika Wa Ghaneemata Min Kul-Li Bir-Rińw-Was-Salaamata Min Kul-Li ‘Iֵsmin,
Laa Tada Lee‘
ִZańmban Il-Laa Ghafar Tahu Walaa Ham-man Il-Laa
Far-Raj Tahu Wa Laa ִHaajatan Hiya Laka
Riִzaan Il-Laa Qaִz
Aie Tahaa Yaa Arִhamar-Raaִhimeen.
Then Read This:
Al-Laahum-Ma In-Nee As’aluka Wa Ata Waj-Jahu
Ilaieka Bi Nabeey-Yika Muִh Ammadin-Nabeey-Yir-Raִhmah
(ִSal-lal-Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sal-lam). Yaa Muhammadu Yaa Rasoolal-Laahi
(ִSal-lal-Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sal-lam)
“There is no god but Allaah the
Clement, The Bountiful. Glory be to Allaah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. All
praise belongs to Allaah, Lord of the Worlds. I ask you for that which
qualifies me for your mercy, the strong means to your forgiveness, abundant
portion of every piety and safety from every sin. Leave no sin of mine without
forgiving it. No anxiety without removing it and no need that is pleasing to
you without fulfilling it. O the most Merciful of those who show mercy.
[Tirmeezi and ibne Majaah]
In the narration of Ibn Majah – the
addition is that Rasoolal Laahﷺ stated that,
“Should the person make prayer for
the affairs of this world and the next and whatever else he wishes, indeed, Allaah
will fulfil them.”
One of the best times to do this is
on this auspicious night. It is a night when Almighty Allaah’s mercy is so
close to us and His special observation is with us. In shaa Allaah by
performing this Salah, it will fulfil our permissible desires. It is desirable
to make Dua for the protection and well-being of the ummah, your family
members, protection of your children, blessing in sustenance, remaining guided
on the right path, life and death upon Imaan, salvation in the hereafter and
attainment of the Mar’rifa of Almighty Allaah and true love of Rasoolal laah ﷺ.
