Sunnies Sing the Praises of Ahle Baiet! Maulana Ahmad Raza Khan [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh]

*“O’ Hasan, let the disrespectful blaspheming sect hear;

That Sunnis sing the praises of the Ahle-Baiet.”*

In a world often divided by sectarian misunderstandings, these lines are a bold reminder:
True love for the Ahle Baiet is not exclusive to any one group — it flows through the veins of the Ahle-Sunnah wa’l-Jama‘at.

                                                  Love Rooted in the Sunnah

The Ahle Baiet — the family of the Prophet ﷺ — hold a place of unmatched honor in Islam.
For Sunnis, this love is not borrowed or political — it is rooted in Qur’an, Ahadees, and Prophetic tradition.

  • The Holy Prophet ﷺ said:

“I leave behind two things: the Book of Allaah the Holy Quran and my Ahle Baiet.”

 (Musnad Ahmad)

  • Hazrat Imaam Abu Hanifah (رحمه الله), the great Sunni jurist, famously declared:

“If the love for Ahl al-Baiet is rejection (rafd), then let all humans and jinn bear witness that I am a rejector!”

                             🌹 What It Really Means to Love Them

Loving the Ahle Baiet means:

  • Following their character, not just wearing slogans

  • Upholding their values of justice, humility, and sacrifice

  • Honoring their legacy, especially in times of moral trial

  • Defending their names from disrespect and distortion

This love is not innovation — it is inheritance.

📿 Final Reflection

So let it be known:

“O’ Hasan, let the disrespectful blaspheming sect hear;
That Sunnis sing the praises of the Ahle Baiet.”

We do not whisper our love for the Prophet’s family —
We recite it from our pulpits, write it in our books, and carry it in our hearts.
