The Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu 'Alaiehi Wa Sallam] himself celebrated his own Meelaad.

Prophet Muhammad,
There are many other narrations which narrate that the Prophet of Allaah celebrate[Sallal Laahu 'Alaiehi Wa Sallam] his own Meelaad by keeping fast.
His Saying....

"I took birth and the Quraan was revealed upon me in this day."
