These expressions are so magnificent and so concise that all but one chapter of the Qur'an begins with these words which is following the practice of the Holy Prophet Muhammed

The above mentioned phrase is considered very significant and an important aspect of every Muslim when they commence on any major work as it is one of the pillars of Islam.
Bismil-Laahir-Rahmaa Nir- Raheem is the soul of Islam which recognizes and honors the very existence and all Blessings, Compassion and it’s the very source of all Mercy from Almighty Allaah who responds to our moral integrity and our tremendous love for Him .
This is said at any tasks that Muslims take before entering a house, eating, reading a book and also beginning any prayers.
Prophet Muhammad [Peace Be Upon Him] said, "He who writes Bismil laah “In the name of God” has obtained innumerable blessings.
