[May Allaah be pleased with him]

said,

“There was once a pious man named Shaiekh Moosa Zurair who embarked on a voyage by ship.  During the voyage the ship started sinking due to a heavy storm. While all the other passengers on board cried in fear, Shaiekh Moosa Zurair [May Allaah be pleased with him] went to sleep.  In his dreams he saw the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam] who instructed him to recite

with the other passengers.  Shaiekh Moosa Zurair awoke and started the recitation.  As soon as he completed reading it 300 times, the storm subsided and the ship was saved.  Other ships sank during the storm but but this ship reached its destination safe and sound.  This miracle was a blessing for the passengers aboard the ship.  It was by the Grace of Almighty Allaah and the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam] they were all saved by reading of Durood-e-Tunaj-jeena.”

All saints have unanimously given the verdict that Durood-e-Tunaj-jeena is the best cure of all ills and calamities in this world.  This Durood is recommended during days of distress, hardship and adversity and it is advised to read at least 70 times a day to alleviate problems and difficulties.

Translation:

“O Allaah! On our master and leader Muhammad

[Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam]

and his family shower such blessings and mercy that by whose means all our pain, fears and calamities are relieved.  And by its blessing grant all our desires and by its bounty we are cleaned and purified of all our sins.   And by its mediation grant us a high position and rank in Your Presence.   And by its means allow us to attain the utmost limit of all good deeds in our lifetime and all the goodness in the afterlife.   O Allaah Kareem! You have the full power over everything.”

Sub Haan Allaah!
