Bismil-Laahir-Rahmaa Nir- Raheem
All Praises are due to Allaah [Ta'aalaa], the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful, and Choicest Durood and Salutations upon His Dearly loved Rasool, the Habeeb, Prophet Muhammad [Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam], and his beloved ‘Aal. ’
May the Peace and Blessings of Allaah Kareem be upon him, and upon his family, companions, [Sahaabah] and all those who follow them until the Day of Judgment.

Muharram ul Haraam
The virtues of the month of Muharram
The Islamic year begins with Muharram ul Haraam, the first month of the Hijri calendar which teaches us lessons of admonition, good counseling, knowledge of Allaah Almighty, sacrifice, selflessness, patience and seeking the pleasure of All Knowing All Mighty Allaah Ta’aalaa, and His Beloved Prophet Muhammad

The sacred month of Muharram is a blessed and important month. The word "Muharram" means "Forbidden." Even before the advent of Islaam, this month was always known as a sacred Holy month in which all unlawful acts were forbidden, prominently the shedding of blood.
"Verily, the number of months with Allaah is twelve months [in a year], so it was ordained by Allaah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are sacred. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein..."
[ Surah Taubah _Qur'aan ]
The Importance of Muharram before ISLAM …. Allaah Ta’aalaa created the heavens and the earth on this blessed day. On this day HE gave HIS infinite blessings and bounties to many of HIS Prophets [Alaiehis Salaam] and delivered them from the clutches of their enemies.
Allaah Ta’aalaa created Hazrat Aadam [Alaiehis-Salaam] in this month, Hazrat Nooh’s [‘Alaiehis-Salaam] Ark landed successfully on Mount Jood, he saved Hazrat Ibraaheem [‘Alaiehis-Salaam] from fire and rescued Hazrat Moosaa [Alaiehis-Salaam] from Firaun [Pharoah].
Hazrat Aiyyub [Alaiehis-Salaam] was cured from his illness. Hazrat Ya’quub [Alaiehis-Salaam] met Hazrat Yoosuf [Alaiehis-Salaam] after 40 years.

Hazrat Idrees [Alaiehis-Salaam] was raised into the skies.
Hazrat Yoonus [Alaiehis-Salaam] was released from the stomach of the fish.
Hazrat Dawood's [Alaiehis-Salaam] taubah [repentence] was accepted. Hazrat Sulaiemaan [Alaiehis-Salaam] received his Kingdom.
Hazrat Eisaa [Jesus] [Alaiehis-Salaam] was raised into the skies. Hazrat Muhammad Mustafaa
ﷺ made Nikaah to Hazrat Khadijah [Radiyal Laahu ‘Anhaa]
Hazrat Yoonus [Alaiehis-Salaam] was released from the stomach of the fish.
Hazrat Dawood's [Alaiehis-Salaam] taubah [repentence] was accepted. Hazrat Sulaiemaan [Alaiehis-Salaam] received his Kingdom.

Hazrat Imaam Husaein [Radiyal Laahu ‘Anhu] was martyred in this month.
Shaiekh Tirmizi and Haakim has narrated from Hazrat Anas [Radiyal Laahu ‘Anhu] that the following verse:
"Allaah may forgive thee of thy sins that which is past and that which is to come."
[Al-Fath]
was revealed on the 10th of Muharram.
Qiyaamah will take place on the 10th of Muharram.
