Hazrat
Abu Bakr
[Radiyal
Laah Anhu]
stated:
We were offering the Salah being led by the
Holy Prophet
[Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]
when
Hazrat Imaam Hasan Bin ‘Ali who was a young [child] at that time came.
Whenever the Holy Prophet performed prostration [sajdah], [Hazrat
Imaam] Hasan sat on his blessed neck and back of the Holy Prophet
[Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]
He
lifted his blessed head from the prostration very gently and lowered him very
affectionately. After the Prayers was completed, blessed companions
respectfully said, ‘Yaa Rasoolal laah! You treat this child the way you do not
treat anyone else.’
He
said, ‘He is my flower in the world.’
This
son of mine is Chief [Saiyyid].
Hazrat
Abu Bakr
[Radiyal
Laah Anhu]
has stated:
I saw that the Revered and Renowned Prophet was
sitting on the Mimbar [a pulpit-like raised structure] with [Hazrat Imaam]
Hasan sitting next to him. Sometimes, the Holy Prophet
[Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]
would pay attention to the people and at times he looked towards the child [Imaam] Hasan. He said, ‘This son of mine is ‘Saiyyid’ [the chief]. Allaah Almighty will make him achieve reconciliation between two large groups of the Muslims.
Hazrat
Imaam Hasan [Radiyal Laah Anhu]
was hardly 8 years old when he lost his beloved
Grandfather and soon after that his dear mother.
