Lets the Beauty we love be what we do... Maulana Rumi

Rumi Quote -“Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.”

Maulana Jalāl ud-Deen Rūmī

[Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] was a 13th century Poet, Faqih [Scholar], Sufi Spiritual Master. Though he is known across the world simply as Rumi, his real name Jalaal ud-Deen is an Arabic word that means “Glory of the Faith.” His poems and other writings are concerned with God[ Allah’s] love, peace, faith, and finding happiness.

Maulana Rumi’s words transcend national borders and ethnic divisions, and he has consistently ranked among the world’s most popular poets for the past seven centuries. Rumi’s works were mostly written in Persian, but he also wrote in Turkish, Greek, and Arabic. Today, his poems have been translated into many different languages and are sold across the world.

Psychology and poetry are two extremely different subjects. However, there is a close connection between the two. A poet portrays his innermost feelings, thoughts, and emotions in the form of rhythmic poetry.

When a reader reads such compositions, they will affect his way of thinking. They will allow him to cherish and accept his innermost feelings. Poetry triggers our emotions and encourages self-reflection.
