FLAG PROOF & MEELAD UN NABEE-
Our Beloved Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] Companions [Sahabah’s] entered Madinah Munawwarah
carrying the flags:
While migrating to Madinah, when the
Beloved and Blessed Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] reached a place near Madinah, known as Mauda-e-Ghamim,
Buraydaah Aslaami along with seventy horsemen from the tribe of Bani Sahm
chased the caravan with the intention of capturing the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] but he himself got captivated in the love of the Holy Prophet
and embraced Islaam.
He said,
لا تدخل المدینة الا ومعك
لواء، فحل عمامة ثم شدھا في رمح ثم مشی بین یدیه صلی الله علیه وسلم
O! Prophet of Allaah! We will welcome you in Madinah with flags. Therefore, the horsemen took off their turbans, placed them on the top of their spears and moved to Madinah...to welcome him.
