Naat -Poetry Expression of Love for Ishq e Rasool:
Love for the Beloved Noble Prophet Muhammad
[Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]

The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves ...

[Al-Ahzaab: 6]

Everything that man possesses is only due to the grace of Almighty Allah. It is indeed a great favor of Allaah Kareem upon mankind that he sent among them His Prophet. The Messenger of Allaah said,

“Love Allaah because He bestowed upon you favors and blessings, and love me for His sake”

The meaning of this Hadees is that we should love the Messenger of Allaah because Allaah Almighty loves him.

Whoever loves the Prophet of Allaah is in actuality valuing this immense favor of Allaah Kareem, and whosoever recognizes the tremendous value of Allaah’s favors is always given more.

There has long been a great tradition of spiritual poetry in the world of Islam. From the time of the Blessed Prophet Muhammad, when his companions used to recite poetry with his approval, until our present day, Muslims have sought to discover the truth of the maxim,
