Mercy to all the World

The brightest dawn follows the darkest night in this world of living men. Arabia plunged in darkness of evils and superstitions. In such a gloomy age all around the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عايه وسالم was born as a bright sun on the firmament of human history in the great city of Makaah.

Before the arrival of Holy Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عايه وسالم the condition of the world was in great turmoil and chaos. Infidelity and polytheism were spreading from all directions. Alcoholism, gambling, the taking of interest and bribery was common. The streets were full of major corruptions such as adultery, jealousy, back-biting, enmity, and hatred. Vulgarism, theft, and murder was a part of daily life.

There was not even the scent of love, respect, and reverence among people. There was never any protection for the lives and property of individuals. Communities became so corrupt that fathers buried their children especially daughters alive. In a time of such corruption and deterioration, hope for the helpless, a Mercy from Allaah Almighty, our beloved Prophet صلى الله عايه وسالم was born, on the morning of the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic year.

Allaah [Almighty and Glorious is He] says in the Holy Qur’aan, in the 21st Surah, Al – Ambiya, Verse 107:

O! Prophet [Peace be upon him, his family, and his companions]

I Have Not Sent You But As A Mercy To All The Worlds.

Prophecies of his birth are still available in Bible

and in Books of the old testament as stated by the Holy Quraan

(III : 81).
